The FinePix F500 EXR delivers a
powerful array of functions and features in a slim dynamic design. The sleek
form moulds to your hand with all buttons and controls just where your fingers
expect them to be.
New face Detection Technology
The FinePix F500 EXR is also equipped with Fujifilm's Face
Detection technology featuring automatic red-eye removal.
The FinePix F500 EXR not only detects faces in a frame but it can also
recognize who is who! You can register up to 8 people in your camera and next
time you take a photo of them it will bring up their name and optimize settings
in favour of your registered faces. In playback, you can search for all photos
containing registered faces to quickly find photos of your favourites.
Wide Dynamic Range
Just as your eye sees the full range of shadows to highlights in
high-contrast scenes, D-range Priority simultaneously captures two images to
produce a single image with Wide Dynamic Range up to 1600%, revealing subtleties
in shadow and eliminating washout of the bright areas.
High Sensitivity & Low Noise
Just as your eye strives to make dark scenes as bright and detailed as
possible, High ISO & Low Noise Priority takes advantage of high sensitivity and
FinePix's original pixel binning technology to capture the subject with
exceptional brightness and minimal noise.
HD Photos & HD Movies
People don’t just want to capture their memories as photos any longer,
there’s a big demand for high-quality video capture too. Not only does the
FinePix F500 EXR record videos in stunning Full HD (1080p) at 30 frames per
second, it also boasts stereo sound for high quality audio and outputs the files
in H.264 (MOV) format. Favoured by broadcasters and Blu-Ray manufacturers, H.264
produces file sizes that are smaller and more manageable than the conventional
AVI format. What’s more, they’re compatible with a wide range of websites and
